Dragon's Nectar Tea Ltd

Dragon’s Nectar Tea began as an idea in the Mid-2010s when owner Rhydian Beynon-Davies was working in the world of High-Tech Horticulture. He realised that there was no option available for those speciality tea drinkers who wanted low caffeine teas for afternoon and evening drinking and so he set about planning how to make this happen! In early 2025 this idea became a reality when Rhydian moved back to South Wales to form Dragon’s Nectar Tea. We are based in the Upper Rhondda Valley, where we have an indoor growing and processing facility and a polytunnel, from where we grow and produce our tea plants, herbs and flowers for our products. Our passion project is the development of our Oolong (‘Kings of the Underworld’; named after a Richard Burton quote referencing the heritage of the miners’ in South Wales) and White (‘Breath of the Dragon’) Teas. These will be available from mid-2026. We are also very proud of our Tea-based Spirit ‘Flight of the Dragon’, which we feel captures the spirit and complexity of the highest quality teas in the world in an elegant and rounded tipple. We see it as our mission to bring the best quality teas from China and Taiwan to the UK. Many of these teas are rarely available outside of these areas and we hope that you enjoy the journey of tea exploration as much as I have over the past decade.
