In 2021, I joined Lufkin Coffee Roasters full-time as a barista in Grangetown, then later on, as a coffee roaster. I immediately fell in love with the roasting aspect, so was devastated when Lufkin’s business went under and we all had to go our separate ways in March 2025. It was pure luck and serendipity that I had the opportunity to use the same roastery in Barry to continue my passion for roasting with thoughts of turning it into my own business enterprise. I love coffee and I love sharing my enthusiasm for it with others in person, as coffee engages all the senses in ways that can not be experienced in an “online” sale. As a neurodivergent artist, I am looking for a way to earn my keep in a soulful, heartfelt way, in a way I can be proud of, and in a way that funds my creativity.
