Abstract Akerele

I am a modern artist, illustrator and printmaker based in Cardiff. I'm best known for my abstract scenes of Wales. I use mainly screen prints to produce limited edition, affordable artworks for everyone to enjoy. I also work in acrylic paints on stretched canvas to provide more bespoke commissioned artworks. Basically I love Wales and love drawing about it, especially all the unsung parts. I'm located in Cardiff, since moving here 25 years ago I have found it the most friendliest city I have lived in. Its just full of the best people. I gained a mentorshop from the Printhaus workshop back in 2023 which has changed my life and how I create. My work has featured in various exibitions around Cardiff and I have illustrated two published childrens books. My inspiration is all from Wales and nature. The best feeling is when someone recognises a street I've drawn and they share the memories they have of that street.
